I came across another article today that extols the virtues of rising early to get a head start on the day, to clear your mind and to set your priorities.
I agree with all of these ideas in principle. But, with 2 young children I try to get every minute of sleep I can to avoid wandering around in a zombie like state the following day. So, at 5am, the last thing on my mind is getting up for that early morning jog, a bit of meditation or to set my priorities for the day. So, for me and I am guessing many a parent, the theory has to take second priority to sleep!
